The Mira Vista neighborhood is located in the Mission Hills part of Rancho Mirage, a town in the Palm Desert area of southern California. This is an attractive and appealing neighborhood that is home to a variety of amazing properties that are designed with all the great features that you would come to expect to find in a modern home.

This neighborhood has more than three hundred homes in development or in existence right now with a large number of them including golf course views or views of the nearby lake. In fact, it is the extended number of golf-related features at this community that make it a hit among many people who want to find amazing homes to live in.

The homes around Mira Vista include many that feature exquisite views of the land around the area and also plenty of beautiful model points. These include high ceilings, large-scale windows for natural light and even some private pools and landscaping spots on select spots.

People who live at Mira Vista won’t have to bear with difficult roads or extreme traffic issues. That’s because the area has just two access roads. As a result, the area is safer and more enjoyable without being overly crowded or otherwise a challenge to be around.

In fact, this place is not too far from many important sites around southern California. It is about a two-hour drive from here to either Los Angeles or the Mexican border. It will take a little longer to get to San Diego or Las Vegas but the community is located in a spot to where people could get out to one of these spots in the course of a day.

What About Golf?

People who live at Mira Vista can enjoy the many golf courses in the region. These include a few that people can get access to with discounted rates thanks to them being locals to the area. The Mission Hills Country Club is particularly near Mira Vista and features a Gary Player course that is right near many of the homes in the region.

Also, Mission Hills is home to courses from Arnold Palmer and Pete Dye. The Dye course is particularly popular for being one of the most challenging courses in the region. The Dinah Shore Tournament course is also noteworthy for being home to the LPGA Kraft Nabisco Championship among many other special professional events held throughout the year.

There’s also a 17-acre driving range and a chipping green for people to use here. There are also four separate putting greens that are ideal for practice. The Golf Academy school here also helps people to learn how to improve upon their golfing skills and to get the most out of what they are doing while out on the field.
